ATTORNEY JOSEPH D. BERNARD
I have tried over 200 cases to a jury in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Many of these cases were OUI or similar related charges. I dedicated a large part of my practice to defending individuals charged with Drunk Driving Offenses. In accordance with my extensive experience, one of the major reasons for my success is my extraordinary level of preparedness.
BIO
Mr. Bernard served as a lecturer and author in seminars and programs for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc., the Massachusetts Bar Association and other legal seminars relating to Drunk Driving.
He is the co-author of the chapter Trial Preparation in the MCLE publication Trying OUI Cases in Massachusetts (MCLE 2007) and co-author of the chapter Trial Preparation in the MCLE publication Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Offenses(MCLE 2nd ed. 2008).
He has been trained and certified to administer the Standardized Field Sobriety Test. The same certification law enforcement receives. He is a member of the National College of DUI Defense and a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
